Gaïwan - Zhong Tea infuser

A lot of us use a teapot to infuse our tea. But do you know a Gaïwan? Also called Zhong, this infuser is basically a bowl with a lead, on a plate. You put your tea leave into the bowl, then water, and the lead is your filter. The shape is made so you can push the lead to open it as much as you need depending of the size of your leaves. You can add water and infuse the same leaves several times. The lead symbolize the sky, the bowl the water, and the plate, the earth. Match perfectly with the Lotus Gong fu tea cups.
